Character: HITACHIIN Hikaru
Fandom: Ouran High School Host Club
Character Notes: Ah, Hikaru. Always seen as a half of the Hitachiin twins, but always wanting something more. As much as he loves his identical twin brother, Hikaru has always chafed against any bonds placed on him -- while Kaoru is often the brains of the operation, Hikaru would generally be the quickest to suggest some plan of mischief. Often impetuous and brash, Hikaru isn't as good with people as Kaoru generally is. It often seems like Kaoru, instead of Hikaru, were the older twin by three years rather than three minutes. (Probably an exaggeration -- another thing Hikaru is prone to.)
Hikaru is deeply passionate, but very, very bad at showing it. When he cares, he cares completely, and let's just say he does care completely for his brother, and hardly much for anything else, least of all discipline of any kind. However, since Tamaki managed to recruit the two of them into the host club, he has matured somewhat, and is now able to accept that there are others in the world aside from just him and Kaoru. One of them, of course, is their inimitable, fearless leader, Tamaki, whom the twins sarcastically or affectionately (probably parts of each, for Hikaru) term M'lord.
In the host club, the two brothers are technically 'marketed' as the little devils, but when it comes to performance time, they're pretty good at some fantastic yaoi fanservice for their kyaa~ing female fans. Is it just an act, or...?
